While most gamers are all too familiar with the Super Mario Bros., few remember the enigmatic Fantastic Steve Cousins. Accompanied by his cousin, Ralph, Fantastic Steve led players on a magical journey through the Sausage Fiefdom. When the Mario Bros. soared to fame a few years later, Fantastic Steve sued the plumber for stealing his act. Unfortunately, Fantastic Steve was found dead before the trial began, leading to further speculation on Mario’s involvement with La Cosa Nostra.

Ramis to Direct Ghostbusters: The Video Game: The Movie

During a roundtable Q &A at the Downtown Standard in Los Angeles, Harold Ramis (Ghostbusters) announced his plan to direct Ghostbusters: The Video Game: The Movie, a film adaptation of Ghostbusters: The Video Game.

Ramis says Atari, the developer of Ghostbusters: The Video Game, will develop Ghostbusters: The Video Game: The Movie: The Video Game a video game adapatation of the video game to film adaptation, and that we can expect a late 2010 game and film tandem release.

If Ghostbusters: The Video Game: The Movie and Ghostbusters: The Video Game: The Movie: The Video Game prove the Ghostbusters: The Video Game brand is viable commercial property, those closer to both Ramis and Atari say we can expect follow-up trilogy beginning with Ghostbusters: The Video Game: The Movie: The Video Game: The Movie and culminating with Ghostbusters: The Video Game: The Movie: The Video Game: The Movie: The Video Game: The Movie: The Video Game: The Movie.

Penguin Books will publish the screen to book adaptations, which should hit store shelves in time for Christmas beginning with Ghostbusters: The Video Game: The Movie: The Official Trade Paperback.
